A Summer Update

Recently, I have been standing but not walking just yet. I've tried some of the soil from the tomato plants in my backyard, yum! I love the doggie cage and pots and pans. I have learned how to turn pages in a book and I can wave and yell at my soccer ball. I am walking around with my cousin Henry

- since he is obsessed with soccer I use him to walk me around. He wants me to kick the ball around all day and then I watch him do tricks. He thinks he is Ronaldino and he even has practiced some Portuguese!

Mom loves vintage outfits so I am always posing for her. I have four really cool new things- a drum, a piano, a bike seat of my very own and a kitchen where I do most of my cooking. My only really bad experience was this week when we rode into the fresh market. On our way back I was so happy to be eating a delicious peach when BUMP- we hit a bump and my peach went rolling onto the road. I've recovered since then with a million other fruits ! HA!

Oh and I forgot to mention my new oscillating toothbrush that I love so. Thank you Daddy- I always have fresh breathe now...

ON Father's Day, Daddy

Dear Daddy,

Hey you Mr. I am talking to you. On our first father's day ever, I just want to thank you for working everyday to make us a great family. I know how difficult it can be to live with a gypsie like my mother but please understand that she makes decisions based on philosophical and moral assumptions. It's just too bad. But I know you work hard.

On our first father's day ever, I want to say how lucky I am (even though I really don't even know it) to be a part of you. From what I've heard, you are a great and kind hearted person who has a great zest for intellectual dialogue. And one day I will want to be just like you.

Thank you for playing with me and making me laugh. I love when you make funny jokes as we eat our food and I love bath time too. You are the man in my life that I need and am the luckiest almost- 10 -month -old in the whole world.

I will see you as soon as you get out of work. We will have a special sweet car ready for you and a little something else. I can't wait to see you.

Elijah fell asleep in front of the fire while listening to "A Ring Of Fire" and he slept peacefully. Victoria Bryant State Park was beautiful! He got to hang out with his running partner and met new babies as well! EJF and Stephanie
